Sundog Bread

Though we know this a difficult time for everyone, we’re grateful to have the time and the space to bake bread for the Kona community again. For those of you that are not aware, we are no longer based at Kona Butcher Shop. Towards the end of last year, we ceased production at the shop and moved all of our equipment.

With a lot of help from friends, we’ve been able to build a small, efficient production space. We’re happy to say we now have the ability to bake organic long-fermented sourdough breads for the public again! We’re more than appreciative for your patience during our period of slow growth.

Also, we’ve began setting up our mobile wood-fired pizza oven program. This will be a service offered to the public as a weekly pop-up and for private event catering. As always, thank you all for your patience. We're very grateful to have the consistent patronage from throughout all of Kona and the western side of the island. After all, the main reason we're here is to build community around wholesome, thoughtful food.
